What is baptism all about?
The Bible clearly teaches that baptism is the first step of obedience after making a commitment to Christ. Baptism allows a believer to communicate to the world their heart-felt commitment to Christ. It is your public statement of your decision to receive Christ. At His House, we believe in baptism by immersion.
Romans 6:4-5 - For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives. Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was.
We celebrate baptism during our regular Sunday-morning services at 8:30 AM, 10 am, and 11:30 AM. On the day you are scheduled to be baptized, arrive about 15 minutes before your scheduled service time and come to the front of the auditorium. The baptism attendant will check off your name when you arrive. Please bring a change of clothes. We will provide towels and restrooms for changing.
When is the next baptism service?
Baptisms are scheduled for the second Sunday of each month during all three services. If you have received Christ as Lord and Savior and would like to be baptized, click below to register.
